BREAKING NEWS - Based on the new federal budget, naturopathic doctors are added to the list of health care professionals whose services are exempt from the GST/HST under the Excise Tax Act.
This means there will be no HST applied to Naturopathic Services (visits), while the products sold at the clinic will be taxed HST.
This change came as a result of the continued efforts of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors in demonstrating the benefits of tax exemption, and it will undoubtedly provide greater access for patients seeking a proactive approach to their healthcare needs.
